Our last day in Bhutan was a typical tourist day. Visits to the oldest Buddhist temple in the country; the National Museum, in a seven story 15th century watch tower; the Dzong [fortress] of Paro just below the watch tower; another opportunity to create a sand mandala at a tourist shop, lunch at a 2nd floor restaurant in town, and a visit to a beer brewery. Packed for an early return to Kathmandu in the morning.Read more
