A 7am flight (May 8th) from Paro, Bhutan to Kathmandu, Nepal meant alarm clocks set for 4 a m. Flew Drukair, Royal Bhutan Airlines. We arrived at 8 am. The Hotel Yak and Yeti let us in to our rooms by 10 am. We spent the afternoon shopping in the crowded streets of the Thamel District then had a fun dinner at the Northfield Cafe with chicken masala (served by our good natured server, Kumar) as the choice of four of five diners.
