Uros - floating islands of lake Titicaca

After colca canyon we went to lake titicaca and spent two nights in one of the floating villages - Uros. The hosting family was super friendly and showed us how the manage their life in this special environment. Almost everything is made out of reed and so we joined them to cut it and learn how they use it.

Besides that we enjoyed the beautiful sunset at the lake and the crystal clear sky at night with thousands of stars.Lue lisää
