Cusco - Rainbow Mountains

Just seven years ago the Rainbow Mountains near Cusco we’re discovered. Due to the melting of glaciers in the area, the colorful layers became visible. Different minerals like iron or sulfur are responsible for that.
The Peruvians quickly transformed this spot into a crowded tourist place 🙈
But still we enjoyed the hike above 5.000m to witness this natural spectacle.Les mer
