Train trip today from Pocinho to Lamego in Portugal. Wonderful scenic trip along the Douro River. In Lamego we had a lovely lunch of local cheeses, meat, salad and olives as well as three different wines.
Short walk around the town after lunch and then, 'up,up,up' to our hotel. We were all hot and dusty so had a swim and a relax before dinner in hotel at 9.15pm.Read more

TravelerIt was nice to have a morning where we could just sit and admire the view. The hotel pool was a good opportunity to cool off and relax too.
