Ah, Waihi Beach! There’s just something special about this spot, and every time we come here, it’s like stepping into a slice of paradise. This time, we’re making it extra memorable by camping out at the Coombridge family bach. It’s the perfect blend of cozy vintage charm and sweeping ocean views, and it’s got just the right amount of space for our whole crew. The bach is two levels of old-school kiwi magic, and the big front yard is ideal for all of us with motorhomes and caravans – everyone’s got a spot with room to breathe.
We arrived this afternoon, six of us, with the rest of the gang rolling in tomorrow. It didn’t take long for the evening to turn into a cozy catch-up session. Stories and laughs filled the air as we all shared what’s been happening in our lives, savoring that easy rhythm that family gatherings bring. And it wasn’t just us making the most of this amazing spot – our two dogs were in absolute heaven, racing around the yard and sniffing out every corner, happy to be part of the fun.
