• Day 4

    November 10, 2024 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 15 °C

This morning, we waved goodbye to four of our family members before settling in with coffees in our camping chairs. The dogs were just as content, happily gnawing on their cow hooves on the grass (yum!). Those of us still around decided to take a scenic drive into Bowentown. The views from the hill were breathtaking, and down at Anzac Cove, Neil kept the dogs entertained with endless sticks, and they enjoyed a refreshing swim. The water looked so inviting that we wished we'd brought the kayak along! We popped over to the Bowentown Holiday Camp and stopped at the little cafe for another coffee. The holiday park looks fantastic – we’re definitely making plans to stay here in February 2026 when Carol and Malc visit with their boat! On the way home after lunch, Neil and I couldn’t help reminiscing about the amazing weekend with family. I feel so blessed to be part of this incredible clan!Read more
