    The day started out with beautiful sunshine after a night of torrential rain, but it wasn’t long before dark clouds rolled in again. Some of our neighbours’ tents collapsed, and we spent time drying soggy chairs and gear. Once the rain cleared, we took the dogs for a bike ride—Diesel ran freely beside us, while Marley, the loose cannon, had to stay on a lead. Near the campsite, Marley pulled Neil off his bike, but thankfully, he was okay, though the bike taillight got smashed. Just five minutes after returning, the rain hit again, so we enjoyed some quiet time with our books before heading out for three rounds of mini golf, which was a blast.
