Mangatarata- Woodturner's cafe

Most of us have driven post this cafe on the way to or from Auckland. Just out of Ngatea, it boasts a large cafe with coffee and food as well as homemade condiments and other gifts. The large outside area has a playground for children and a fenced off area for dogs. We were able to park right beside the dog area and had access to power from a utility shed.
I had a woopsie when I was standing in the MH doorway watching Neil with the dogs. I turned around to get my phone to take photos, and as I stepped up, I clocked the top of my head on the doorframe. My vision went black, and then I literally saw stars! Ouch!!! No bleeding, but a nice big bruised bump. I was quick to find and install the pool noodle we normally have on this door frame. Lesson learned.
We all had a bit of a snooze after brunch. I figured if we were to stay up to see in the new year, then we had better get in some zzz's prior.
On the whole, a very quiet New Years Eve watching TVNZ+ (we signed up to Wireless Nation so we can have internet everywhere we go!) We managed to stay awake until midnight, wished each other a happy new year and went to sleep.Okumaya devam et
