    Burgos to Rabe de las Calzadas 14km 4hrs

    Took it easy today with a slow and short walk out of Burgos. My feet were still sore after the blister popping so I walked in sandals today which was ok.
    We stayed in a great little albergue where we met Joaquin from Argentina. Such an interesting young man. We had dinner tonight with people from Switzerland, Holland, Brazil, USA and Argentina. After dinner many of us walked over to the local convent and participated in their evening Vespers (prayer) service (in Spanish) The nuns were amazing. They gave us all beautiful medallions of the Virgin Mary at the end of the service.Read more
