    Day 5 - A Rua

    Today's distance was short, 8.5 miles, but seemed really long. I guess because we didn't start until almost 11:30. Last night's lodging was so nice we didn't leave until 11, then took at warm-up lap around the lake, before we pried ourselves away.
    Today was short sleeve weather. It was sunny all day and we walked through so many different terrains. Of course, it started with a long up hill climb.
    Our first stop was Cafe Avelina. Avelina, the owner is so kind and personable we hated to leave. She makes delicious sandwiches, coffee and snacks. Lots of smiles, hugs and photos. Along the way we passed a mink farm. Didn't know they existed.
    We met pilgrims from Scotland, Portugal, Hawaii and Ohio.
    We stopped at an open air museum with a dinosaur. Finally making it to our apartment by 5. Picked a winner.    Read more
