It's really great to go into coffee shops enjoy the atmosphere, the great coffee and read books . It is also fun to go on walks, see the wildlife and explore new areas .
What is really interesting is Janet and I are sparking up conversations with the people we meet.
We are finding, we have specific encouraging words for them and we see this helps them to know they are valued and they are not alone.Leggi altro

Another trail by the Sacramento river led to seeing turtles soaking in the sun. 😎
Went for a walk in the local area and saw the bike in the tree! No, I didn't ride it there!

Birthday fun

Today, I am celebrating my birthday with my best friend, Janet. A lovely american breakfast at Deja Vu in Redding then a beautiful river walk by Keswick Dam. As we returned to Anderson it looked like it was snowing in the garden !! but it was cottonwood seed in the air and the temp is 26 f/ 80 c. Another treat is seeing a humming bird- too fast to take a picture of though! and a beaver in the riverLeggi altro
