Day 37, travelling to cochabamba

Again we missed the hotel breakfast 🤣 and checked out around 11:30. We walked few meters around the block to the main street and took a taxi to the bus terminal. It was not so far away, 20 min with the taxi but mostly up the hills so it would have been tough to walk with our backpacks. At the terminal we had to wait 3 hours till the bus was going, so we grabbed first a coffee and a baked bread filled with cheese for breakfast. We also got some cheese empnadas for on the way, because the bus ride would take 7 hours. Nina finally found some playing dices with a nice playing cup (only €2,40!) So we can play yahtzee! Then we waited some more untill the bus came. On the way we had to stop somewhere because a woman REALLY needed some coca leaves. The bus stopped a few more times for no reason. Around 19:00 we had a break. The driver really needed this, because he had to avoid all the big put holes in the road 🤭 Eike got a HUGE bag of chips, because it was the only one they had. There was also a giant pig walking around the parking space. We went on our way again and it got dark. Next to the road there were signs to watch out for llamas crossing the street 🦙 we sadly didn't see any. The stars were amazing to see, because it was so dark. We got stuck behind some trucks, and ten hours later we finally arrived in Cochabamba. It was not difficult to find a taxi that took us to our hostel, and luckily someone still opened the door for us. Time to go to sleep!Read more
