Visiting outstations

First day doing proper work.
A permanent nurse and midwife Melinda and I go on an outstation run today. Utopia services many outstations and every day 2 cars go out and see people there. Most of them are old bores from when this area was a working station. Each car usually has 2 nurses and another nurse stays at "the big clinic" to see pts there.
Melinda was great continuing to orientate me and to work with. We take all gear we need, medications and laptops to use Communicare software offline. Each outstation has a small she'd used as a clinic.
We went to Mosquito Bore and Kurrajong today. Was great and we were back to clinic by 1.30. After lunch we saw pts and more orientation check offs.Meer informatie
