Survived an earthquake in Athens!!

Walked around Pireaus and chilled out.
Quite hot at 33 degrees. Steve went for a swim on a beach, I didn't bring bathers so paddled.
At 2.15 we were out walking and heard a loud bang, saw some big windows flex in a big building and people running out of buildings looking stunned. We'd just had a 5.1 Richter scale earthquake. When we got back to our room we found plaster chips and cracks off the walls. We felt 2 aftershocks too, a but scary but all was fine.Read more
