Macinac Island

We headed to Macinaw City first thing. We checked out the shops and then took the ferry over to Macinac Island. Vehicles are not allowed. Everyone walks, bikes, or takes horse-drawn carriages. It was really nice. The Grand Hotel is pretty. There's a fort to explore, lots of shops, and the carriage tour was very informative.Read more
