After a couple of nights free camping we have come to a site near Portree, the premier town on the Island.
We woke up to sunshine which was a bit of a surprise - a bit of a breeze blowing so a good drying day. Alan currently on laundry duties.
Walked down to the town late morning to leave K doing her patchwork in the van.
Portree is a charming little town with a colourful port side, full of cafes, fish and chip shops, restaurants, wool and gift shops as well as a strong visiting european contingent.
The town is also motorhome friendly so we will park in the town tomorrow, as we leave this site, so K can enjoy it.Read more
