Skaftafell / Vatnajökull National Park

Today we visited the Skaftafell / Vatnajökull National Park. We joined the "Blue Ice Experience" tour organised by Icelandic Montain Guides to walk on the glacier. That tour was the most basic one which gives you only a taste. But this was the only one accepts kids above 8 years old. The walk lasted around 2 hours. I cannot say that it's exceptionally good but it still covered basics in a short time. If the kids are older, we will definitely try some other more adventurous tours.Weiterlesen
