Dettfoss and Selfoss

The whale watching trip was cancelled. And, the weather was bad. What to do now? We adjusted the itinerary and drove to Asbyrgi because we did not want to skip this most powerful waterfall in Europe. The second half of the road was very bumpy. This waterfall itself was very spectacular but it's too bad that the weather was very poor. We almost couldn’t see anything and do any hiking at all.

Just several minutes of walking distance away, they was another waterfall which was very peaceful. A big contrast to the previous one. Nevertheless, the weather was so bad that we could only be able to take a short walk and took a look of the waterfall and then went back to the car.En savoir plus
