Mt. Ranier National Park

After leaving Yakima we drove West to get to Tacoma over Chinook Pass (5433 feet). We spent several hours in the park, had perfect weather and got gorgeous views of the peak. I have climbed on this peak multiple times while we lived in Tacoma getting my Emergency Medicine residency 1987-90. We would go skiing at Crystal Mountain on the flank of Ranier frequently during the winters and go mountain climbing on the glaciers shown here during the summers.Leia mais
