Day 6 Praa Sands - Gunwalloe

Woke up early 5:30am to a very misty morning. After a coffee I left sleeping beauty (aka Debbie) and headed to the garage spar for supplies for the day ahead. Packing up in the wet isn’t as much fun but has to be done. Drama of the day - Debbie left her phone in a locker to charge her phone. You guessed it, locker said Nooo. Had to wake the sick 🤒 campsite owner to release it.
Finally on our way we had a relatively flat but insanely humid walk until reaching Porthleven. Pastie number 4 the best so far, cheese and onion 4.5/5 🤩 Retail therapy resulted in a lovely silver ring. Onwards to Loe Bar for a swim in the lake & an opportunity to dry the tents. Came across a pop up campsite in Gunwalloe, too good an opportunity to miss (£4 a night) & a lovely old pub next door. Phone charged and a glass of red before heading to bed happy & tired.Read more
