Day 9 St Keverne - Mawnan

Up and out early - the path was so much easier than the last couple of days. Shady woods & walking next to the most amazingly peaceful little coves. Stopping to take in the view I got chatting to a lady (Libby) who happened to be the warden of Mawnan church. She offered us the field next to the church to pitch our tents. There has been so much kindness shown on this trip - thank you Libby.
The day included two ferries - Gillian ferry & the Helford river crossing. Bumped into Miles again aka Luke at the Ferry Boat Inn in Helford while stopping for a drink and to charge our phones.
Also took a little tumble (no.2) great bruise to show for it… need to look where I’m going before heading to our camp spot at Mawnan Church Field.Read more
