• Day 8 Kynance Cove - Coverack

    July 11 in England ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

The day started with a bus ride to Cadgwith as Debbie and I had already walked the next section of the path. Another extremely hot day, the narrow fern enclosed paths making it a tad sticky! The sight of a beachside cafe at Kenack Sands was a relief. Breakfast and a catchup with ‘Luke’ the thru hiker we met yesterday. He was amused to find out we’d given him the name of Luke or Will the walker - real name Miles. Detoured inland to cool down to Coverack. There we rested up at The Bay Hotel. We were offered a lift by a lovely lady working there to our campsite at Roskillys who also make Roskillys ice cream. We declined (not sure why now 😂). It was a great site which I’d love to go back to.Read more
