Ravenglass to Wasdale Head 24.11km

Helen and I met at Carlisle for another (shorter) extravaganza. Train late so 1 hour later on wee train to Ravenglass. Great wee train in sunshine ☀️ at last. Great route through Muncaster castle in full rhododendron glory. Then onwards to Eskdale Green and along NT river and woods to Dalegarth station for an ice cream.
Then up and over with the sky getting darker past a wonderful yarn to Wasdale in light rain.
Feeling the packs but already feeling better with a 🍺Les mer
