Day 2 Wasdale Head to Skelwith Bridge

15.5miles 1348m ascent. Breezy start today and got windier as we got up higher towards Great Gable. Great views from top but being blown about a lot. Down to Sty Head and onwards to Sprinkling Tarn and Angle Tarn. Great views. Too many people for a skinny dip. Down to Old Dungeon Gill for a well earned pint then onwards along good paths to Skelwith Bridge. I ran out of energy - not helped by the thought of a 25%hill to get to the campsite. Lovely spot when we got there. Lots of fighter plane activity today. Lots of ☀️. Forecast a bit ropey for tomorrow.Lue lisää
