Day 4 Ravenber

12.9miles742m ascent. Forgot to say we heard my first cuckoo yesterday 😊. The promised storm didn’t arrive. A bit of wind and rain but no lightening. A wren woke me early, singing away in the mist. The farmer was around again on his quad. We set off steeply up to High Street. Met some Wainwright coast to coasters who were a bit lost and one with a huge rucksack, and a carrier in his hand🤩. Carried on in mist over High Raise with a slight clearing then back to mist. Onwards and down to Askham where we met Simon and Lesley at the Queens Head. Wonderful pizza. Back for a bath and the wonderful platter. 😊Läs mer
