Auf nach Lahr im Schwarzwald

Heute steht uns eine weite Strecke bevor: Wir lassen Österreich hinter uns und fahren rund 600 Kilometer bis nach Lahr im Schwarzwald. Es ist ein langer Tag auf der Straße, aber die Fahrt verläuft gut. Am Rande von Lahr finden wir schließlich einen wunderschönen Campingplatz mit Swimmingpool.

Natürlich gibt es für die Mädels kein Halten mehr – sie stürmen sofort ins Wasser! Währenddessen machen sich Dave und Karl an die Arbeit. Der Aufbau des Zeltanhängers ist allein ihre Sache. Wir Frauen halten uns da nobel zurück und reden ihnen kein bisschen drein – eine Taktik, die sich bewährt. Zum Abendessen zieht es uns alle in die urgemütliche Blockhütte am Platz. In dieser rustikalen Atmosphäre lassen wir den langen Fahrtag bei gutem Essen entspannt ausklingen.

Off to Lahr in the Black Forest!

We have a long haul ahead of us today: we’re leaving Austria behind and driving roughly 600 kilometers to Lahr in the Black Forest. It’s a full day on the road, but the journey goes smoothly. On the outskirts of Lahr, we find a beautiful campsite with a swimming pool.

Of course, the girls can't wait to get in—they head straight for the pool! Meanwhile, Dave and Karl get to work. Setting up the tent trailer is strictly their job. We ladies stay completely out of it and don't breathe a word of "advice"—a strategy that definitely pays off. For dinner, we all head to the cozy log cabin on-site. It’s the perfect rustic spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal after a long day of travel.
