Damp and miserable - feat the Blue Lake

We woke up to more rain and weren't really feeling it, but we got ourselves up and moving anyway. We stopped off at the blue lake, it is so much bigger than I was expecting and it was like something out of a movie. Absolutely unreal. We stopped off at some other lookouts, just taking it all in. For the ones with a slight walk, we took turns while the boy stayed in the car, didn't want him to be damp and miserable too. Had a quick stop at kmart to grab some more towels, then on to the visitor info centre. They had the lady Nelson ship out the front and a discovery centre inside with more information about it and the local area. It was like a mini museum and free, nice surprise.Read more
