Estaing Part 2

Continuing my walk, I visited the Église de Saint-Pierre-de-Bessuéjouls (Celtic for: “clearing in the Wood”). This is a UNESCO world Heritage site. I took lots of pictures. They’ll tell the story better than my words. I was especially touched by the petite chapelle in the attic of the church which is accessed by crazy narrow set of stairs.

Finally arrived at my stage tonight. Estaing is beautiful. As I approached along the river. I reached the 10 by crossing second beautiful bridge you’ll see pictures of. I happen to catch some itinerant Dominicans who provided an unscheduled Mass at the gothic-style church, Saint-Fleuret. The music was sung by the Dominicans and it was so beautiful. I’m would like to go back for their evening service tonight but I have a long hike tomorrow so I’m getting back to my room and getting ready for bed.
