Travellin to islay

Early start - 8.03 train from preston to glasgow then bus to kennacraig and ferry to islay. £13.40 return to Glasgow ain't too bad - hope its not a cattle truck
Well impressed with train journey - now long bus journey
Well missed the ferry connection literally by minutes - the boat was tied up gangplank down but wouldn't let us board - now sat in a shed of a ferry terminal with the only facilities being a tea vending machine, free wi fi and staff that don't give a monkeys!
