Early start - 8.03 train from preston to glasgow then bus to kennacraig and ferry to islay. £13.40 return to Glasgow ain't too bad - hope its not a cattle truck

Lovely walk to Laphroaig, very scenic and very calming. I was quite surprised at how informative the tour was and the samples were excellent - well worth the walk but I'd dispute their promotionalMeer informatie

Well another day another distillery, busses are a rarity for getting around last one back to port ellen is just after 5.

Well up early for trip to jura - ferry broken down so a free trip in a rib lol

Well all good things must come to an end, it's been a lovely short break and I think the 3 distilleries I've visited capture all that there is in this ancient art.
