6. Whistler to Pemberton

Starting with sunset down the Callaghan Road to the Whistler Olympic Parc. Callaghan Rd. is known for a lot of Black Bear sightings - however even driving the road 3 (!) times during sunset, I haven't met any bear :( Stopped at the Alexander Falls and visited the place where the Olympic Winter Games took place in 2010 (and that is now a training area). On the way to Pemberton, stopps at the Train Wreck Trail, Nairn Falls, Alpha and One Mile Lake. View still not good cause of the smoke (now with more intense smell of fire), but entering Pemberton, I finally met a Black Bear on the road (no photo) 🐻Read more
