Day 4 - Forster to Kangaroo valley

Today we went through Sydney and it was quite stressful, we are not used to that kind of traffic anymore 😅

We proceeded south and stopped in Bowral for a swim, the little city looked quite nice with a lot of green.

In the early afternoon we reached the Kangaroo valley and our camping spot (Bandeela recreation area) which was suggested from the couple we met in the Deepwater pub.

We met another friendly older couple, both of them born in the Netherlands.
They told us that at nighttime wombats come out to eat and they occasionally scratch their backs on the lower part of cars and caravans. They are so sturdy you can feel the car moving!!

We had a walk in the park and we saw wombats and kangaroos in the wilderness🦘

We were more tired than we thought and we fell asleep at 5 in the afternoon, only to be woken up in the middle of the night by the wombats shaking our car, it felt almost like an earthquake!Read more
