Day 1 - Childers to Lake Somerset

Day 2 - From Lake Somerset to Deepwater

We woke up at sunrise and after breakfast we headed south again.
In the first few kilometers we had a stunning view of the lake from above 🌳

Day 3 - Deepwater to Forster

We left Deepwater at around 7 am and had a nice cappuccino in a local bakery.
The first couple hours weren’t much interesting, a lot of wheat fields all around.

Day 4 - Forster to Kangaroo valley

Today we went through Sydney and it was quite stressful, we are not used to that kind of traffic anymore 😅
We proceeded south and stopped in Bowral for a swim, the little city looked quite niceLes mer
Day 5 - Kangaroo Valley to Ulladulla

We left Kangaroo Valley in a foggy morning and we reached Jervis Bay but we weren’t lucky with the weather so we changed our plans and we decided to have a stop in Ulladulla. Before our arrival weLes mer
Day 6 - Ulladulla to Moruya

We left our camping around 8.30, again in a cloudy day ☁️

Day 8 - Eden to Lakes Entrance

We landed in Victoria after a boring stretch of road surrounded by eucalyptus. The temperature suddenly changed and we experienced the coldest night of our trip. Sofia’s back was getting worse butLes mer

After a cold night we left Lakes Entrance to reach Wilson Promontory. We were really surprised bout the wild and different nature of that place. Andrea enjoyed the sunset while Sofia was stack in theLes mer
Day 10 - Wilson prom to Inverloch

We moved to Inverloch and Sofia had a session with a chiropractor and she got better. We just enjoyed the evening with some beef steaks and got some good sleep.
Day 11/16- Inverloch to Melbourne

Finally we arrived in Melbourne and we met two dear friends from Lamon. They hosted us for one week. The next days:

Day 17 - Melbourne to Devonport

In the morning we went for a swim and then we got ready to leave Melbourne.
We said goodbye to our friends and we headed to Geelong to catch our ferry to Tasmania ⛴️.

Day 18 - Devonport to Cradle Mountain

First thing when we landed in Tasmania: chiropractor for Sofia 🫠
That helped a lot and she was feeling better straight away.

Day 19 - Cradle Mountains to Mole Creek

We woke up after a rainy night and we went for a walk in the National Park. We did the lakes circuit and we felt at home as the landscape reminded us of our Dolomits (but with palms and wombatsLes mer

We moved to Hobart in a crispy day and we decided to visit the city another day. The farmer postponed our starting date so we decided to take it slow and visit as much as we could before starting theLes mer

We visited the stunning South East Tasman National Park with its massive cliffs (Devil’s kitchen and Tassie Arch) and then we found a cozy place and we wormed up a little bit. Woodstove was reallyLes mer
Day 22 - Hobart Salamanca market

As we heard that Salamanca market was taking place every Saturday in Hobart, we took the chance to visit it as it apparently was quite a big event in the city.

Day 23 - Mount Wellington

After a freezing and rainy night at "The Lea" campground, where we encountered kangaroos, opossum and some sort of rat jumping like a Kangaroo, we headed for Mount Wellington.

Day 24 - Hobart to Coles bay (Freycinet)

We left in the morning and headed towards Coles bay, as we saw there were some interesting trails and nice camping spots.

Day 25 - Wineglass bay

We went for a hike up to Wineglass bay lookout, which took us under 1 hour time to get to the top.
From there we could see the bay from above, unfortunately it was an overcast day which wasn’tLes mer
Day 26 - Bay of fires

From Coles bay we reached St Helens, a little town right before arriving to the Bay of fires.
There we found an amazing free camping spot, right on the shoreline. Cristal clear water and orange stonesLes mer
Day 27 - Lottah and Launceston

A girl from the Netherlands told us about a little village that once was home to the miners, and now was abandoned and taken over by nature. We thought it was worth a visit and so we headed towardsLes mer
