Nitmuluk National Park Canoe tour

Arrive on time for our 1pm tour. Taken by boat through 1st Gorge (not able to be guaranteed Saltwater crocs not in this one) to the 2nd Gorge where Nutimiluk Tour's are sure is saltie free. We get allocated our canoes, Rog and I choose to go in a double, and have listened well to our pre Canoeing instructions. We have to be back at this pick up point at 4.45pm, we are to go no further than the end of the 3rd Gorge and we must not go on the banks where 'Do not disturb, fresh water crocodiles nesting' signs are showing. We can go wherever we manage otherwise and enjoy swimming in these 2 gorges. What a stunning place to be - especially on a 35°+ day. We have packed snacks, water, sunscreen etc - and wearing bathers, sunglasses and hats, so we have a fabulous afternoon. Tired and very happy at the end of this tour. 5 star rating for sure!Weiterlesen
