Melbourne: Gaol and Tennis

Lauren had to work in daytime today so spent the day with Ken.

We met at Melbourne Gaol, and old jail building that was amazing inside! Paid extra for guided tour which was totally worth it! It looked like something out of orange is the new black! The guide had all old stories of the prisoners that were executed there and it was a really good exhibition.

Wandered around city with Ken after, stumbled across a camera museum in a shop where Ken was buying a lens cover.

Then met Lauren, her flat mate Fiona and another girl they know and we went to the tennis. It was absolutely meltingly hot!! It was great at tennis with food stalls and deckchairs and activities. Went in and saw one of the matches, my first ever live tennis match! Was such a good atmosphere!Leggi altro
