Mystery Island, Vanuatu

Mystery Island, visited by Queen Elizabeth II, was a paradise that we reached by tender boats. We went drift snorkeling here to see all kinds of colourful fish and coral. We had a massage in a hut on the beach and shopped in the stalls surrounded by all colours of sarongs and "grass skirts".
This island was a mystery to the Japanese in WWII, because the allies had a grass air strip here and launched planes "out of nowhere". We saw this airport and it's air sick still flying.Read more
