Hot Hot Hot 🔥

Fantastic breakfast - have been loving these communal breakfasts and guest houses - you get to meet lots of new people - our hosts last night were a brother and sister and great for a chat.
After a direction faux pas we found the canal again.
Today has been really hot so we decided to have lots of breaks the first was in Paraza for a coffee.
We then cycled on and then spotted what we thought was church but when we got closer it was a wine museum and degustation of the local wine at Ventenac - en - Minereois. Guess who ended up carrying 2 bottles of wine in their pannier 🤪
Lunch stop at a lovely village of Le Somail where we had the best Calamari ever and Jim was having a small salad - it was huge !
The temp was now almost hitting 40 so we had to have an ice cream stop.
We arrived into Capestang and another great guest house with a pool to cool down.
We wandered into the village for drinks and a pizza and now time to rest ready for day 5 - we are well over half way !!Read more
