Pamplona Day 2

We decided to stay a second day in Pamplona and what a great decision that was!! We walked the Camino to a charming small village of Cezur Minor. We arrived at a restaurant/bar at 12:15 and they were kind to open their kitchen for us. They normally open at 1:00. We had a private dining experience until the older gentleman owner sat at the next table.

Our lamb was cooked over an open indoor wood fire. delicious!!! Also had a Ensalada Mixta and four limonadas.

Walked around the town and then walked the 4K back. Took a break and then walked all over Old Town. One highlight was a tour of the famous bull ring which hosts the Running of the Bulls every year in July. Fascinating to say the least. Very mixed feelings.

Then walked along the river, over an ancient bridge on the Camino and then through Castile Frances from the 1500s-complete with a drawbridge!Read more
