Lincoln's Tomb and Home, Springfield, Il

This morning we got to the train station just in time to get on ours to Springfield to visit with Manish and Manjarie. Manish picked us up and we went straight to Oak Wood Cemetery to see Lincoln’s Tomb. Drove around the cemetery a little bit then went to Lincoln’s home. It and the land and homes surrounding it are part of the National Park Service. We took a tour, walked around, then went home and helped Manish with dinner — traditional Nepalese momos, chicken and Book Choy.Read more
