    Hallo Kruger

    June 16, 2017 in South Africa ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

The 4am start was totally worth it. We get a nice African welcome by the sunrise over the beautiful bushveld just before entering the Kruger at the Orpan gate.

Our journey to our rustic tent camp take us all the way from Orpan to Satara rest camp, then Letaba and ultimately to Tsenze. This is a 5 plus hour safari drive.

Before we stopped Satara we came across loads of cars who claim the saw a leopard walking in the distance (or as one guys said "he was walking very quickly") after about 15 minutes of scouting the bush we decided to head on and Boom as we drove off we saw the leopard walking in the distance about 500m from where the cars were trying to see him again. He was indeed walking very quickly so we only saw him for two fleeting moments before he disappeared in the bush. None the less, its a great spot and leopards are not something you see often.

Other than the Leopard the journey was well worth the long drive as we saw several other animals like Buffalo, Giraffe and Elephants just to name a few.
