Walk about Kiama

Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep after 1am but was able to watch the dawn from our hotel room around 6am. Went down for breakfast served in the Yves sea front first floor, delicious fresh food.

After breakfast we walked about Kiama, this time towards Bombo Beach and headland and took a few shots. Then as we walked back along the coastal walk, took photos of the external swimming pool and harbour, looking back at our hotel and the coast down from the blowhole. Spot the grasshopper! Sounds around us of birds and insects… nature is very different from what we are used to.

After checking out, we got some groceries at the local Woolworths and then we headed to Mary and Ned McPherson’s. Ned is George’s cousin aged 82. We arrived around 14:45 at Lake Tabourie. What a welcome!Read more
