Foggy Lagos de Covadonga

Today we were supposed to see one of the highlights of the Asturian natural landscape: the Lagos de Covadonga. If a few days ago we were melting, today was quite the opposite: 11°C at the lakes with rain and fog. We were not really prepared for that so we covered ourselves in what we had and tried to survive even with sandals. It was a total disappointment to be up there where there usually are breathtaking views with lakes, green mountains and cows, and see no further than a few meters in front. We still did a hike and got some proper food and shelter - even the bus driver got us in even though he had already departed from the top! So some positive elements remained!Læs mere
