    Lake Monowai

    13 gennaio 2020, Nuova Zelanda ⋅ ⛅ 17 °C

Lake Monowai was the next one on my list. Here I did only a short walk to a lookout as the Sandflys are so nasty around here 😳
Sandflys are horrible little black flys that are cutting up the skin to drink the blood, only the female Sandflys does that.
It really hurts and their bites are itching like hell afterward. They are worse than mosquitoes I can say. I hate them!

The walk to Lake Monowai was trough a nice forest with many mice 😳
I saw them everywhere and they were not really scared of me.
    Horrible!

The Lake though is beautiful and I could take a short pause here before the Sandflys started to attack me again.
