Auckland, next stop Dunedin

We landed with a bit of delay in Auckland after another 13 hour flight doing another 10000km. Because of the biosecurity, the plane was fumigated and our luggage checked. The staff cold me a townie because I declared my timberland "hiking boots". Now we have one more domestic flight to our final destination, Dunedin! This flight is during Koru hour (something Maori I don't understand), but it means we get free wine and crackers on the plane!

We landden met een beetje vertraging in Auckland na nog een vlucht van 13 uur en nog eens 10000 km. Vanwege de biosecurity werd het vliegtuig gefumigeerd en onze bagage gecontroleerd. Het personeel vond me een stadsmens omdat ik mijn Timberlands als "wandelschoenen" declareerse. Nu hebben we nog een binnenlandse vlucht naar onze eindbestemming, Dunedin! Deze vlucht is tijdens het Koru-uur (iets Maori dat ik niet ken), maar het betekent dat we gratis wijn en crackers in het vliegtuig krijgen!Read more
