Scario, Costa Infreschi &Capo Palinuro

So we haven’t travelled very far these last few days but have seen some great coastline. Along this section it’s very steep, lots of caves, villages on hills and towers on every headland.
We left Sapri and moved to Scario for Gelato and a look around as Pilot book author liked the town, it was cute but very small with a lighthouse that appeared very random as not on a headland or very high or any specific rocks we could identify. From here to a beautiful bay Costa degli Infreschi where, although there were trip boats during the day, we were the only over nighters. Bizarrely the mooring buoys in the bay were all about 2m below the surface not a problem I dove and put rope through loop on top but still a bit odd. Then next day around the headland to Camerota for shopping and more gelato before anchoring up just south of Punta Palinuro.Lue lisää
