    France in lockdown

    Hello Everyone well as of midnight last night the 14 March France is in lockdown, all non essential businesses are closed to the public. No cafes, restaurants, cinemas were not sure for how long as the Minister of Healths speech went on for a long time and a lot of dates were mentioned so I wasn’t sure which one was relevant. It’s not all doom and gloom though as the essential businesses like supermarkets and other food stores, as well as pharmacies and tabacs! (cigarettes are obviously essential) are allowed to open. Also the French institution of the Marche or market continues, I assume this is because they sell food stuffs, however people were standing noticeably further apart and no cheek kissing.Read more
