Wow! What a day...filled with the most amazing scenery and views, as well as another Basilica and monastery 😁
Montserrat is about a 30 min train ride from Manresa, were I am currently staying for 3 nights.
Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey is a breathtaking 11th-century Benedictine monastery perched high among the dramatic, jagged cliffs of the Montserrat mountain range. Located roughly 50 kilometers northwest of Barcelona, it is also a sanctuary for the revered Black Madonna statue.Read more
