We chose to stop on this spot because this place became very famous for celebrities during WWII. From here the big planes took of to get their passengers to America.
Cliffs of Moher

This is one of the most famous sights in Ireland, the cliffs of Moher. Great sights.
Galway

We made a stop in Galway while driving up to Connemara. Beautiful city right on the coast and the gateway to Connemara !
Ballynahinch Castle

Clifden

Clifden is the main town in Connemara. Rain was pouring while we were there. Good and nice shops in town, luckily, even an excellent tiny bookshop !
Sky Road

Driving out to the west from from Clifden, we drove the sky road around a small penisula. Again, much rain but still beautiful misty landscapes !
Omey Island
