Rain 🌧️ for the rainbows 🌈

Amsterdam Pride is quite the event over at least a week duration. They had events and parties planned all over the city. Many of the events were focused on more specific groups, so a place for everyone; hence the #youareincluded theme. Workshops and low-key events occurred prior to the street parties and club nights.

The hotel across the street was putting on dinner and evening rooftop movies. We tried to get tickets to a great movie, but they were sold out already. 🎟️😕

We did attend the Amstelvelt street party for a bit. It was a nice open square and not too crowded like the city center parties. The weather cooperated and we enjoyed the later afternoon sun. Later, we went to an Open Air Cinema at George Gershwinplein. The movie was called The Blue Caftan, with great reviews. Unfortunately it didn't have English subtitles, so we left shortly after.Lue lisää
